Working together

If you are looking at my bio right now you have already taken an important step: you’ve recognized that you could use some extra support in your life and have begun to act on it. In your therapist search, finding someone who feels “right” for you is key. If you decide to work with me, this is what you can expect: a therapy environment where you feel safe and comfortable enough to be challenged in moments that call for it. I will remain empathetic, curious, and determined to support you in exploring whatever led you to seek therapy in the first place, and in identifying ways to heal, grow, and build resilience and self-acceptance.

I practice therapy modalities like family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and attachment therapy, but my approach will ultimately depend on you, on your goals, and on why you came to me. From there, we will discover the techniques that resonate with you and are best suited to our work together.

A little about me outside of the sessions: I was born and raised in Austin, TX and lived in NYC for 17 years before returning to Austin. Prior to my therapeutic background, I worked professionally in theatre and film production. My artistic background is an incredible resource that I continuously pull from in my sessions. I look forward to hearing from you!
